Asakusa, the old heart of the city

Asakusa is Tokyo as it was: the Senso-ji, the city's oldest temple, approached through the giant red lantern of the Kaminarimon gate and the Nakamise street of little shops. With a private car you arrive at the edge of it all, explore on foot as long as you like, and step back into the car when you are done, bags and all. Your driver knows where to wait and when the temple is calmest.

On to the Tokyo Skytree

A few minutes away rises the Tokyo Skytree, the tallest tower in Japan and the best high view of the city. Your driver takes you to the base, waits while you go up, and is there when you come down, no station to find, no bags to drag. Pair it with the riverside, a sumo neighbourhood or a traditional lunch; the day is yours to shape.

Frequently asked questions

Can you take us to Asakusa and the Skytree in one trip?

Is it by the hour or a full day?

Both. Book by the hour with a short minimum for a focused Asakusa and Skytree visit, or a full day of around eight hours to add more of the city.

Can we go shopping on Nakamise street?

Yes. Explore Nakamise and Asakusa on foot for as long as you like; your souvenirs go straight into the car between stops.

Do you include the Skytree tickets?

Skytree tickets are not included unless agreed in advance. Your driver takes you to the base, waits, and can help keep the visit simple.

Will my driver speak my language?

Yes. Your driver's language, Italian, French, Spanish, English or Japanese, is confirmed at booking and stated in writing.

Are the drivers licensed?

Yes, only fully licensed Tokyo operators (Class 2 licence, green plate). We never arrange unlicensed driving.
